Meet the peoplewho teach here.

S-Style opened in Ponte Vedra in 2015. Six of us teach ballroom and Latin here: Aleksandr and Aida, who founded the studio, plus Brian, Anastasia, Marat, and Alena.

Aleksandr Skriptsov
International Ballroom · American Smooth
Aleksandr started dancing at seven and has spent more than 25 years on the floor. He has competed with Aida throughout his career.
Together they joined the Russian National Formation Team Vera in 2007 and went on to win the World Championship in 2013, the Champions of Europe title in 2008, eight consecutive Russian National titles, and the rank of Master of Sports.
In 2015 they moved to the United States and opened S-Style in Ponte Vedra. He has since coached Pro-Am USA National Champions in Smooth and Ballroom.

Aida Skriptsova
International Ballroom · American Smooth
Aida started dancing at four and has competed with Aleksandr throughout her career, sharing every championship title with him.
She is an honors graduate of the Tyumen State Academy of Culture, Arts and Social Technologies, with a degree in choreography and ballroom coaching.
She is the studio’s day-to-day point of contact and the person most new students speak with first.

Brian Noon
International Ballroom · International Latin
Brian has been competing nationally in International Ballroom and International Latin for over fifteen years, with wins across the United States.
He has taught ballroom in Chicago. In 2020 he moved to Kyiv to study International Ballroom and International Latin at the Winter Garden Dance Academy, and in 2022 he joined Klub Tanca Sportowego Classic in Warsaw before returning to the States.
At S-Style he works with kids preparing for competitions, couples preparing their wedding dance, and adults learning their first steps. He partners on the floor with Anastasia.

Anastasia Tatarenko
International Ballroom · International Latin
Anastasia started dancing at five in Volgograd, Russia, and graduated with honors from the School of Choreography in multiple ballroom and Latin styles.
She competed in International Ballroom and Latin at national and international level before moving to the United States for her Master’s degree.
She partners on the floor with Brian and teaches Ballroom and Latin at S-Style.

Marat Zhumabekov
American Rhythm · Vice-World Champion in Latin
Marat started dancing at five in Tyumen, Russia, and grew up competing through the Russian national circuit, with titles across Russia, Europe, and beyond.
As a member of the Russian National Formation Team Vera, he became Champion of Europe and Vice-World Champion in the Latin program.
He has years of experience teaching kids and adults, and now teaches at S-Style while continuing to compete professionally in American Rhythm.

Alena Chizhova
American Rhythm
Alena started dancing at seven in Kazakhstan. At nineteen she moved to the United States to study graphic design, but she kept dancing on the side.
She trained at a local studio where she met Aleksandr and Aida, who coached her toward her career as an instructor.
She joined S-Style in 2021 and now combines two careers, teaching on the floor and running the studio’s visual identity, while continuing to compete in American Rhythm.
